Ooh aren’t you lot lucky? I’m back for the second day in a row talking about ice cream, in a desperate bid to cling on to summer vibes.

Like Chin Chin Labs, Pan ‘n’ Ice has been on quite a hype via social media lately, due to the innovative way in which they create their ice cream and flavours. The ice cream is poured onto a frozen slab in liquid form, where it is then combined with your choice of toppings (such as Kinder Buenos, fruits, Oreos etc.) and chiselled into neat little rolls.

Ordinarily, I would always go for the most chocolatey thing on the menu but, on this occasion, I decided to go for their famous Eton Mess flavour. Fresh strawberries, raspberries and pieces of meringue were pummelled together with the liquid ice cream until they froze on the cold slab. They were then spread out into a sheet and, when solid, they were rolled into little tubes and topped with more fruit.

Watching the staff make the ice cream rolls to order is almost as exciting as eating them! This may just be a passing fad but I hope it’s not, because I would definitely go back again to try a different flavour combination.

Looking out of my window, the sky is an alarming shade of grey. This could be a sign that WINTER IS COMING or a hint of the impending nuclear apocalypse but, either way, we need to get some sunshine back in our lives! As a result, my next post will be the very long overdue part one to my Sri Lanka series 🙂

Thanks for reading,
